Armando Madonna's Under-19 team salvages a draw in injury time thanks to Mulattieri's goal.

MILAN Inter and Sassuolo drew 2-2 on matchday three of the Primavera 1 TIM season. The Nerazzurri took the lead through Salcedo before a double from Raspadori turned the game around. Mulattieri then scored in the 92nd minute to rescue a draw for the hosts.

Right from the very beginning, this was a high-tempo game between two teams that approached the match head-on and looked to press high up the pitch. Inter’s first goal came after nine minutes after a mistake by Ghion: Salcedo took full advantage as he beat Turati with a wonderful right-footed strike. Following this, Armando Madonna’s side looked to keep hold of the ball as they searched for the right moment to take advantage and double their lead. After 32 minutes, D’Amico’s cross-shot was blocked by Turati, and the Nerazzurri’s number ten was once again involved in the action five minutes later as his cross found Salcedo in the area, but the latter was unfortunately unable to convert. At the end of the first half, Adorante’s shot was saved by Sassuolo’s goalkeeper Turati. However, Sassuolo also had a chance of their own as Vladan Dekic denied Kolaj after a mistake by Grassini.

The second half started at the same high tempo. In the 65th minute, Turati did well to stop Colidio’s cross, before Sassuolo went up the other end and won a penalty a minute later afterSchirò brought down Raspadori in the area. The away team’s number nine made no mistake in beating Dekic from the spot to make it 1-1. Inter reacted immediately, but good combination play between D’Amico and Zappa only ended in a corner after a timely intervention by Sassuolo’s Pilati. Sassuolo went on the attack in the final stages of the game and completed the turnaround in the 83rd minute through another goal by Raspadori. But when it looked like Inter were heading for defeat, Mulattieri came to the rescue as his goal from on the floor made it 2-2. It thus finished in a draw at Stadio Breda.
