Dimarco and Frattesi: brilliant goals for Italy

Inter players greatly impacted the Nations League 2024/25 opener for Italy. In the game against France, the Azzurri went behind in the first minute after a goal from Barcola. It was a masterpiece from Federico Dimarco that got them back level and another Nerazzurri, Davide Frattesi in the 51st minute, to give them the lead. His perfectly-timed run saw him put the second past Maignan before Raspadori made it 3-1. Alessandro Bastoni played the full 90. Marcus Thuram came on for Griezmann in the 77th minute for France.

Also playing on the opening night of the Nations League 2024/25 was Hakan Çalhanoğlu's Türkiye. The Nerazzurri man came off the bench in the 64th minute of the 0-0 draw against Wales.

Marko Arnautovic was also in action this evening, starting for Austria in the 1-1 draw against Slovenia, decided by goals from Šeško and Laimer. He played 82 minutes.
