The former Nerazzurri defender has joined the first-team staff

MILAN – FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Riccardo Ferri has become the new first-team club manager. A pillar of Inter’s record-breaking 1988/89 side, Ferri was a key figure in one of the most glorious periods in the Club’s history, winning the 1988/89 Scudetto, the 1989 Supercoppa Italiana and the 1990/91 UEFA Cup. His Nerazzurri adventure came to an end in 1994, the year he won his second UEFA Cup. After making 418 appearances across 13 seasons, Ferri’s bond with the Nerazzurri colours remained as he closely followed happenings at the Club and became one of its Ambassadors, a role he occupied for several years. Now, a new chapter is beginning for him within the Inter family. Best of luck, Riccardo!
