Inter Club Talk: a special day

“First of all, I want to welcome all of the Inter Clubs: this is the first time that we have come together for such a special event and this is why we decided to hold it here at San Siro, a place of emotions, values, and history that we will soon be continuing to experience in a new and more modern stadium, which will only strengthen our sense of belonging that makes us stand out. This event is taking place ahead of our match tonight, which is an important game before tough games in the derby and in Munich: the squad are fully focused and all of our effort is going into these games. We want to finish this season happy with ourselves, and we want this for you too.”

“We decided to hold this event as it is the first time we have truly had direct contact with the Inter Clubs. We are a family, we are all together and there are no barriers: this is the great thing about football, and about Inter. We have always respected traditions and our values: the past has provided us with many great memories, but we must also look forward. Right now, San Siro is outdated, it has many issues, but at the same time, the demands of the fans are coming to the surface, because the stadium is a meeting point that must be capable of hosting special moments and events. I am not looking at this question from a solely economic point of view, although the gap with other European countries is alarming: the main thing is to create a welcoming space for people, where they can be safe together. The capacity will be the same as this stadium, with a stand reserved for those who want to come to the stadium without spending a lot of money. Coming from all over Italy means putting family affections behind us and incurring significant costs, also from abroad: the work must be repaid. In the last ten years, 153 stadiums have been built in Europe, in Italy, only three: the bureaucracy does cause us issues, but the owner wants to invest in the stadium and he is working hard on this. Two weeks ago, we, alongside AC Milan, presented our offer for San Siro and its surrounding areas to the City of Milan. We now have to work on the bureaucratic issues: if all goes well, the work will begin in 2027, and we hope to have the new stadium ready by 2030: I am optimistic about it. ”

“The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Inter Club dates back to only last week: during the Infinity League in Munich, there were many Inter fans there to support us. There is so much love for these colours, all over the World: it is part of our history and our values, it is really important. Over 50 clubs are named after me, at least one in every continent, and this is a really special bond that we have: I have been here for many years, Inter is my family and our values really do make a difference. ”

It is amazing that Inter Club is present in one in two states across the World. The Inter Clubs are the heart of our activity, wherever we go, they are our first point of contact and a way to connect every place. Inter Club members are our ambassadors across the World: in an event like the Club World Cup in America, we can count on our 15 Inter Clubs in the USA, and we can rely on an existing support network throughout the competition. The Inter Clubs are also important for our strategy, and we always work hard to find new ways to get our members closer to the club, just like with our new Loyalty programme that already has 100,000 sign-ups. A Loyalty programme is innovative for a football club: we wanted to give every fan the chance to have their loyalty recognised. The Inter Clubs will have exclusive benefits including more opportunities, advantages, discounts and they can accumulate more points to get access to exclusive events. Being an Inter Club member will be a huge boost in the Loyalty programme.”
