Primavera teammates, debut teammates on a special night. The Champions League second-leg against Feyenoord marked Thomas Berenbruch's and Matteo Cocchi's first-team debuts for Inter, who came on in the 84th minute for Frattesi and Acerbi.
Thomas Berenbruch was born in Milano on 31 May, 2005 while Matteo Cocchi was born in Imola on 1 February, 2007. Their paths light up the Inter Primavera every weekend, one with his brilliance and technical magic in midfield and the other with his surging runs and crosses down the left flank.
The official debut for both players came in the final moments of the match against Feyenoord. There was a mix of emotions and the joy of victory and advancing to the next round.

Dimarco, I think he is the best in the world at the moment, I take inspiration from him and I always try to learn something from him. Matteo Cocchi
MATTEO COCCHI: PROFILE
Born on 1 February 2007, in Imola, Matteo Cocchi is a fast and talented full-back who is used to impressing and making rapid progress. After arriving at Inter in the summer of 2021 from the Bologna youth sector, Cocchi started to play regularly in the Under 17 team as a player below the age limit in the 2022/23 season, making appearances and scoring four goals, reaching the Championship final, losing 2-1 to Roma. Last season, Matteo broke into the Primavera squad at just 16 years of age, deservedly earning a starting spot. In the 2023/24 season, Cocchi played 34 games, scoring once and recording eight assists, a speciality from his technical repertoire. This season, Matteo has continued his development under the guidance Andrea Zanchetta: he has four goals and four assists so far. With a refined and precise left foot, Cocchi is an important player for the Inter youth sector, with good crossing and an ability to help in the build-up phase making himself a very reliable players in defence too.
“I can't put this evening into words, I remember the first time I came to the stadium, being six years-old in the stands: now I'm here, I came onto the pitch during the Champions League. It's genuinely an insane emotion. For me, it's a small achievement, I want to thank the Coach, my teammates, everyone, they've helped me. The adrenaline hit just before I came on, but on the field I told myself: 'Be calm, do the things the way you know how to'. I managed the emotion and stayed calm. I dedicate this debut to all of those who are close to me, my family and friends: they always support me. My role models? I have them here, Barella and Mkhitaryan, they are two players that I learn a lot from, they're two role models. Now, we need to work hard. Ten minutes in the Champions League is an incredible feeling but we're young and we have a long road ahead. ”

THOMAS BERENBRUCH: PROFILE
Thomas Berenbruch was born in Milano on 31 May, 2005: the young Inter midfielder is a technically-gifted player who is good in possession and has a brilliant shot. Thomas came to Inter in the 2019/20 season after taking his first steps in the footballing world in the youth sect of Renate, where he remained on loan until the end of the year. He joined Inter in the Summer of 2020, starting his journey in the Club's youth sector, always leaving his mark. In the 2021/22 season he made 18 appearances and scored five goals with the Under 17 side who made it to the league final, losing 3-2 to bologna. It was a similar story the following season, as the Under 18 team were defeated 3-1 by SPAL in the final: however, it was an important year for Thomas as he scored ten goals in 25 appearances. In the same 2022/23 season, he made his Primavera debut in October, making three appearances in total. For the first time, he experienced the field he had been playing regularly on for the past two years: Berenbruch is an important player for the Primavera side, as he shows all of his quality with them. During the 2023/24 season, he played 39 matches, scoring 11 goals, a tally he has already equalled this year in 27 appearances. Naturally left-footed, Thomas can play easily with his right foot: often proving decisive in front of goal, Berenbruch is a very intelligent player when it comes to movement off the ball, able to handle the ball with great technique.
