The Municipality of Milan has awarded the Ambrogino d'oro to Inter. To mark winning their 20th Italian Scudetto title, the Mayor of Milan presented a gold medal and the Civic Merit scroll. The ceremony, which was held on Friday morning in Palazzo Marino's Sala Alessi, saw the Nerazzurri squad together with the Club's top management present. The most exciting moments of the season that led Inter to winning the Tricolor and the Second Star were looked back upon. The Mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, presented a scroll in memory of the prestigious civic recognition to the Corporate CEO, Alessandro Antonello, the Sport CEO, Giuseppe Marotta, the Sports Director, Piero Ausilio, the head coach, Simone Inzaghi, the Nerazzurri captain, Lautaro Martinez, and every squad member. At the end of the ceremony, the team visited the Sala dell'Orologio (the Clock Room) where the Olympic and Paralympic flags are displayed.
