Inter's condolences following the passing of Ilario Castagner

The football world is mourning the passing of Ilario Castagner. First a player and then a coach, he led Inter for just over a season after being appointed by Ernesto Pellegrini in 1984. In 1984/85, under Castagner’s stewardship and with the likes of Karl-Heinze Rummenigge, Liam Brady and Alessandro Altobelli in the Nerazzurri ranks, Inter finished third and reached the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia and UEFA Cup. The following campaign saw Castagner take charge of a further 19 matches. In total, the coach from Vittorio Veneto was in the Nerazzurri dugout for 70 games.
