MILAN – Inter recorded their eleventh consecutive win in the league yesterday, beating Leonardo Semplici’s Cagliari and moving up to 74 points (eleven ahead of second-place AC Milan) in the process. The Nerazzurri have won every single game since the start of the second half of the season and kept a clean sheet in nine of their last 13 Serie A fixtures.
On Twitter, you can vote for the player who you thought performed best at San Siro.
Four Nerazzurri are in contention to pick up the MVP award:
Darmian | A hugely important goal, his third of the season (and second in the league). In scoring, the Italian set a personal record for goal involvements in a single season in the Top 5 European leagues: four (two goals, two assists).
Hakimi | A big impact after coming on: the Moroccan provided his sixth assist of the season for Inter’s winner. Thanks to this contribution, four Nerazzurri players have now scored at least five goals and registered at least five assists in the Italian top flight this season. No other side has done better in this regard (four for Atalanta too).
Skriniar | A solid presence at the back and heavily involved in Inter’s build-up play.
Eriksen | Four efforts at goal, an assertive and creative display
