CRUZ ON VIDEO CHAT: “I’LL TELL YOU ABOUT MY FREE KICK”
Julio Ricardo Cruz will tune in from Argentina via a video call to introduce the viewing of Juventus 1-3 Inter from 2003 to us. ‘El Jardinero’ was a key player in that game scoring a wonderful brace, and he’ll recount his emotions and memories of that night to the Nerazzurri fans before the match begins. “Nobody expected me to take that free kick, but I had been working on it a lot in training.” His free kick into the top corner made it 1-0, then he scored another in the second half reacting well after Buffon’s save, before Oba Oba Martins made it three and celebrated with Almeyda, an unforgettable memory. It was a great victory that we’ll relive together this evening.
