MILAN - Special. No other word better describes Nicolò Barella’s evening as Inter beat Hellas Verona 2-1. He scored the winner with a superb, unstoppable right -footed strike: his first goal for Inter in Serie A and his second of the season. He relived the moment of joy as he spoke to Inter TV and Sky Sport: "We had some problems in the first half, but we came out on top by the end of the game and we're really happy with the victory. It wasn’t easy because Verona play with a great level of intensity, they are a good team. But we wanted to win at all costs, despite the fatigue from the recent matches. Now it’s time for the National Team and I’m already focused on that, after that we will need to go into Inter’s next games with the same attitude."
"We’re working hard, we’re giving our all and we need to keep doing what we're doing. It was important to close out this set of matches in this fashion. The best goal of my career? It was definitely the best."
