UCL, Skriniar: "We're ready for Barcelona"

BARCELONA – Inter are ready to take to the pitch at 21:00 CEST on Wednesday evening, when they’ll face Barcelona in their second group game of this season’s Champions League. On the eve of this prestigious match, Milan Skriniar responded to questions from the press at Camp Nou.

“We’re playing Barcelona and then there’s the match on Sunday against Juventus, but for us the most important match is always the next one. Facing strong players like Messi and Ronaldo is fantastic. However, Barcelona don’t just consist of Messi and we need to ensure that we’re ready. We’ve prepared well and tomorrow’s match will be a great one.

“A three-man defence? There are certainly differences, but from the very first day we’ve been working hard to do well with this defensive line. We’ve done very well so far, even if there’s always room for improvement. We’re expecting a great match against a great side. It’ll be important to do well, not just in defence but also in terms of the attitude from the whole team.”
