MILAN - Three appearances in the Inter shirt and two goals. What’s more, he’s clearly having a major impact within the Nerazzurri’s playing system. After scoring the winner with his first-ever headed goal in Serie A, Stefano Sensi spoke to Inter TV about the match: “I have to admit that the goal came about from movement which we worked on during the week. It wasn’t an easy match, Udinese are a strong side. We had to dig in a little bit and need to be more clinical in front of goal.”
On Tuesday, the Champions League begins: “From tomorrow, we’ll reset everything so we can think about the match against Slavia. The work we do during the week pays off.” Sensi’s already a fan favourite: “This makes me happy, it gives me added motivation when I receive compliments from the fans. However, I need to further improve by listening to suggestions from the Coach and my teammates. The difficulties increase as more matches are played, we’ve got a tough month in front of us. We need to remain focused because the mental side of things is perhaps more important than how we feel physically. We want to do well in front of our supporters in the Champions League. I’m pleased with the compliments I’ve received, but I need to keep my feet on the ground.”
