MILAN - On the eve of Inter vs. Empoli – our matchday 8 Primavera 1 TIM fixture – Coach Armando Madonna and Captain Ryan Nolan had this to say to Inter TV:
Madonna: “We are improving, showing more courage in our games. However, it’s clear that getting results gives you more awareness and helps you to work better.
“We’re well aware that should’ve picked up more points than we currently have, nevertheless, we use this ‘rage’ to improve our performances.
“We must remain calm – I’m sure that the results will come. It’ll be an important match against Empoli and we’ll need a good attitude.”
Nolan: “We put in a good performance against Barcelona. We gave our all but we were unlucky. However, there were still some positives despite the defeat.
“There is now another match tomorrow and we must do everything to try and win. We’ve improved a lot since the start of the league season and let’s hope to continue doing so also through our results.”
