Primavera, Inter 3 - 2 Cesena: brace from Zouin

Three important points for the Nerazzurri's Primavera team that won 3-2 at home against Cesena, in the match valid for matchday 12 of the championship. It was an intense match, lively and full of emotions. Zouin's double in the first half and Zarate's goal in the second half were decisive.

Inter started the match with good ball possession in the first ten minutes, trying to set up the game but without creating any particular danger. After 14 minutes, however, it was Cesena who surprised the Nerazzurri: Perini protected the ball skilfully and supplied Coveri, who, from an inviting position, made no mistake and unblocked the match with a precise right-footer. Inter's reaction was quick. In the 20th minute Motta crossed from the left for Zarate, who headed the ball badly, sending it high over the crossbar. The second half opened with Cesena looking dangerous: in the 52nd minute Castorri hit the post on a free kick, making the home crowd tremble. A minute passed and Inter punished: De Pieri sent Zarate deep into the box, who was cool and got past Veliaj with a precise right-footer, delivering the 3-1. The match, however, was not over. In the 55th minute Coveri shortened the gap for Cesena, winning a rebound in the box and beating Calligaris with an angled left-footer. The guests tried to equalize with a free kick by Tampieri in the 68th minute, which went just wide. In the final 15 minutes, Inter managed the advantage, keeping control until the triple whistle and bringing home a crucial victory.
