APPIANOGENTILE - Mauro Icardi scored his second goal in his second appearance on Europe’s biggest stage and he once again made the difference in a comeback win for the Nerazzurri. "It was a wonderful evening, it was important to do well because of how the group was playing out," he said to Inter TV the day after the 2-1 win at the Philips Stadion. "After the win against Tottenham at San Siro, we knew that we could go top of the group and we went out to get the three points against PSV as well."

Icardi is the first player since Adriano in the 2004-5 season to score in the first two Champions League matches for Inter. "My aim, regardless of goals is to win with the team. If personal achievements follow, fine. But the most important thing is that Inter win and keep doing well as at the moment."
