In collaboration with Opta, here are the statistics ahead of Monday night's clash with Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico


MILAN - After Wednesday’s clash in the Champions League, it’s time for Monday Night action in Rome at the Stadio Olimpico against Lazio. Together with Opta, here are all the stats and pieces of trivia for the upcoming match.

There have been 150 meetings in Serie A between Lazio and Inter. The Nerazzurri have won 62, Lazio 35 and there have been 53 draws. Lazio haven’t won in their last four against Inter in Serie A (1 draw, 3 defeats) and the Biancocelesti have conceded three goals on three occasions in that spell. None of the ten most recent meetings between Inter and Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico have ended in a draw with five wins for each. Lazio have lost three of their last four against Inter at home, winning one after previously going on a run of four straight home wins against the Nerazzurri.

No side has scored more goals from headers than Inter this season (four) and three of these came from the last five matches, Inter have scored seven goals (out of 13 in total) in the last 15 minutes of games, more than anyone else this season. Inter have won eight points from goals scored in the 76th minute and later on, twice as many as any other side. No team has conceded fewer first-half goals this season, with Inter and Milan level on one against in the opening 45 minutes of games.

MauroIcardi has scored in five of his eight league appearances for Inter against Lazio. However, only one of these was at the Olimpico although it was his most recent strike against the capital club. After failing to score in the first four matches in this Serie A season, Mauro Icardi has scored in his last three. MatíasVecino is one off making his 150th Serie A appearance. Vecino scored his last goal in Serie A at the Stadio Olimpico against Lazio on the final day of last season. Lazio are his favourite team to play against in Serie A and he has scored three times against them. The Inter midfielder MarceloBrozovic is the player who has made the most touches of the ball this season in the entire league (831). Brozovic has also had the most playing time for Inter’s outfield players with 659 minutes spent in action.

Miranda’s next appearance will be his 100th in Serie A and he has started in 98 of his 99 matches in the Italian top flight. AntonioCandreva represented Lazio 151 times in Serie A, scoring 41 goals and providing 23 assists. He has never scored against the Biancocelesti from nine matches in Serie A. Keita and deVrij are set to face their old club for the first time. The former made 110 appearances and scored 26 goals for Lazio while the latter featured 95 times and scored eight goals for the capital club in Serie A.
