The 'Il Mago Accaccone e il Paròn' event with anecdotes from Corso, Moratti, Rivera and many more at the Teatro dell'Arte della Triennale

MILAN - The Teatro dell'Arte della Triennale in Milan was the venue for the 'Helenio Herrera e Nereo Rocco. Il Mago Accaccone e il Paròn’ event. The debate chaired by the journalist Gigi Garanzini was held in a packed room as part of the Milano CalcioCity schedule. Massimo Moratti, Mario Corso, Enrico Bertolino, Gianni Rivera and Paolo Casarin all spoke.

The stars of the event told emotional stories describing the humanity and empathy of Nereo Rocco and the strong character and extreme professionalism of Helenio Herrera. Rivera told extraordinary anecdotes on one side and Corso and Moratti on the other.

Paolo Casarin touchingly explained the sensation of desperation and admiration he felt at the age of nine while listening to the radio coverage of the Grande Torino players’ funerals after the Superga disaster. That became the reason why the former referee became determined to play a role in the world of football.

The most touching moments were toned down by the wit and timing of the comedian Enrico Bertolino.
