The Under-19 Inter tactician spoke to Inter TV after the Nerazzurri's 1-1 draw with Sampdoria: "The game against Tottenham took a lot out of us"

GENOA - After winning their opening game of the Primavera 1 TIM season, Inter's Under-19 team followed this up with a 1-1 draw against Sampdoria. Coach Armando Madonna had this to say to Inter TV after the match in Bogliasco:

"We came into this game on the back of the match against Tottenham - a match that took a lot out of us. We changed it around a bit but it was clear that there was fatigue in my players' legs." Madonna then analysed the match: "We controlled the ball well in the first half but didn't get our forwards on the ball enough. We need to improve in this respect and be bolder: we need to utilise our offensive weapons. In the second half, we reacted well after going behind and we also had chances to win it.

"My team has character and they demonstrated that today. It's always our aim to win and it's important to have this mentality. Now we're going to work for a week to correct a few things and try to recover our energy levels."
