FAQ - Recurring questions
What do I need in order to register and to request accreditation?
In order to register on our accreditation system and obtain accreditation for our home games, you must be in possession of an Ordine dei Giornalisti card (professional or publicist) or an AIPS card. No requests from journalists with other types of card or journalists without a card will be accommodated. Photographers must be in possession of authorisation from Lega Serie A for the season in question.
I am a foreign photographer. How can I obtain authorisation from Lega Serie A?
Foreign photographers who wish to attend a specific match can request special authorisation from Lega Serie A by writing to
[email protected].
You must be in possession of an AIPS card in order to request authorisation.
I run a media outlet. Can I create a company profile?
Yes. All registered newspapers, press agencies, photography agencies and television broadcasters are considered companies and can therefore register and create a company profile.
I would like to create a company profile but my media outlet is not on the list. How can I add it?
When you register and go to choose your company profile, you can add a new company/media outlet if this is not already on the list. Simply scroll down on the same page and find the section to add a new company. Be careful not to link your profile to a company that already exists but that you do not belong to.
I work for one of the companies already in the system. Who needs to approve my registration request?
If you opt to register as an Admin for one of the companies already in the list, your registration request needs to be approved both by the press office and by a responsible party at the company you want to connect to. If your request is pending approval for a long period of time, it is possible that this is not a press office issue but down to the relevant person at your company, so you should contact them.
Instead of registering using the platform, can I send an accreditation request by filling out the form in the ‘Contact us’ section?
No accreditation requests can be sent via the ‘Contact us’ section or to the [email protected] email address. The only valid way of obtaining accreditation is to register using the online platform.
Is confirmation of registration the same as confirmation of accreditation request?
No. Once you have received confirmation that you have successfully registered and confirmed your email address, you must log onto the platform and send an accreditation request by clicking on the green button marked “Accredit” for the game in question.
How do I confirm my email address?
In order to confirm the email address entered during the registration phase, click on the “Confirm” button in the email sent to you on confirmation of your registration. In the event that you are unable to locate this email, check your junk mail/spam folder. If, when you try to log onto the platform, the message “Email not confirmed” appears, please confirm your email address and try again.
How far in advance can I send an accreditation request?
Accreditation opens around 10 days before the day of the match. The exact start date and time of the accreditation period for the first available game will be shown on the Media Accreditation System homepage, where you will find the button to log into or register for the platform. You will receive email notification when the accreditation period begins.
How do I know of I have sent the accreditation request correctly?
Once you have sent your accreditation request correctly, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your request.
When will I be informed of the outcome of my accreditation request?
The outcome of your accreditation request will be shown on the platform and communicated to you via email within 24 hours of the end of the accreditation period. It is completely normal for you to receive no correspondence regarding your accreditation request while the accreditation period remains open.
How can I alter my details or the details of my collaborators?
You can modify the details you inserted during registration at any time via your homepage. Simply click on “Welcome” in the top right to open a drop-down menu, from which you can alter your details. In order to alter your collaborators’ details, click on “Collaborators” and then select the details you wish to modify. Each modification must be approved by the press office. It is therefore completely normal for your profile to appear as “pending approval” subsequent to any modifications.
