The thrill of the debut. Valentin Carboni made his league debut during Inter vs Roma, replacing Federico Dimarco in the 88th minute. Born in 2005, he is the first player born after 2004 to play for Inter in Serie A.
His Nerazzurri adventure began on 3 October 2020 with the Under 16. After two years in the youth academy, he made his debut in the Inter shirt. Last season he was one of the key players in winning the Primavera championship, which he won under the guidance of Cristian Chivu. Almost two years later came his first match with the professionals, effectively burning the bridges in the youth sector.
Carboni's is a family history and a Nerazzurri one. In fact, in addition to him, his brothers Franco, 19 (now on loan at Cagliari) and Cristiano, 12, are also with Inter.
Valentin's performance and development have long been appreciated even by Coach Scaloni, who has already called him up for the Argentine national team.
