The draw in Montecarlo has decided which eight opponents Inter will face in the new League Fase of the UEFA Champions League. The Nerazzurri will face Leipzig, Manchester City, Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Crvena Zvezda, Young Boys, Monaco and Sparta Praha.
Inter Head Coach Simone Inzaghi commented on the draw.
“The Champions League has always been a prestigious competition where we still want to shine: we have a difficult fixture list but, like in the past, we are ready to face these big sides. Fighting it out in difficult grounds, over the last few years, has given us a bigger awareness of our strength: we have good games against great and competitive sides but I am certain that my lads will give everything to continue our journey.”
