Inzaghi: "A perfect first half, it's an important win"

Inter beat Udinese 2-1 at San Siro thanks to goals from Arnautovic and Frattesi, both assisted by Dimarco. After a dominant first half, the Nerazzurri struggled in the second half as Solet scored and Sommer was forced into two amazing saves. Tension in the final stages with Inzaghi's sending off but Inter are now on 67 points in Serie A. The Inter Head Coach commented on the win against the Friulani:
“We risked not winning a game that we played really well in, during the first half. We didn't approach the second half well enough but we didn't let much go. Solet's goal took a bit out of us: I am annoyed about this, sometimes the adrenaline gets the better of you and I am sorry for getting sent off and that I will miss the match against Parma, I apologise. We should've done better in dealing with the goal: four of the five changes were forced, Arnautovic and Frattesi both felt something from some collisions, while Dimarco and Darmian are just coming back after four weeks out, and Calhanoglu played two who games during the international break. Asllani won't be there on Wednesday, for this, I need to manage Hakan's minutes: it's difficult playing every 72 hours. We didn't play to our level in the closing stages, but we played brilliantly in the first half against a very strong and physical Udinese side, their growth into the game coincided with our second half performance. I think we should talk about our first half though. We are side who like to play and do so very well in a technical sense, we run into problems when we don't do this. I feel appreciated by the Club, the fans and I have a great relationship with my players: I have a good relationship with everyone. We can carry on thanks to a great win, we know that there's still a long way to go. ”
