Three points and a big step forward for the Primavera, brilliant win against Torino

Electric and exciting are the words that best describe the performance of Mister Zanchetta's side, who, after the midweek loss against Genoa, are back to winning ways scoring four goals. Giacomo De Pieri was a key player in the match, scoring a brace but being involved in all four goals scored. The nerazzurri were able to respond to Torino's goals to secure the three points. This win means that Inter are now on 27 points, overtaking Torino who have 25 points.

The match started in the best possible way in the fourth minute as De Pieri made a move down the right wing and put in a shot-cross looking for Spinaccè but the ball bounced right before Plaia and made its way into the net, giving us the lead. The nerazzurri looked to double their lead straight away with a shot from Spinaccè which was blocked by Mullen and then from a strong shot from Quieto which was saved by Plaia.

Just before the break, the guests found an equaliser with a piece of magic from Gabellini, who pulled out an overhead kick after a save from Alexiou. Mister Zanchetta's side never took their foot off of the accelerator and got into the lead just before half time through Spinaccè after De Pieri provided for him by forcing an error in the granata's build-up.

The second half resumed and the tempo remained very high: Motta capitalised on a rebound from the goalkeeper after a left-footed strike by De Pieri, then Franzoni scored from close range with a precise right-footed shot past Zamarian. De Pieri was a force of nature and in the 51st minute, converted a delivery from Motta with a low left-footed shot which found the back of the net again. The granata didn't give up and shortened the lead once again: the referee pointed to the spot for an Aidoo handball and Gabellini beat the Inter goalkeeper.

Torino kept pushing but the nerazzurri maintained control and assured of the three points. For Mister Zanchetta's side, the Youth League match against Bayer Leverkusen is next, scheduled for Tuesday.

L'arbitro assegna un calcio di rigore al Torino per un tocco di mano di Aidoo su cross di Krzyzanowski. Dagli undici metri Gabellini batte Zamarian con uno scavetto. 51' DE PIERI SEGNA IL QUARTO!
