Lautaro: "A win I dedicate to Pavard"

“We knew we were facing a team that hadn’t conceded at home. We didn’t start off well in the opening 20 minutes, but we managed to take the lead and then started to play with more composure. We’ve won following a mature display and after managing our lead well in the second half. I’m trying to work hard and grow in every respect. We practise shots from distance a lot; Calhanoglu does it, as does Mkhitaryan and everyone else. The important thing is to win, and that’s the reason I’m happy. The Serie A Golden Boot is important, but I try to help the team and make sacrifices even when I don’t score. I’d like to dedicate this victory to Pavard. He’s a wonderful guy and possesses real quality. We hope that his injury isn’t too severe.”

“Every now and then, we try out different solutions in training to get into the opposition box. I saw there was space to run into, and Calha played a fantastic through ball. I did all that I could to get there first and it went well; we managed to open the scoring in a difficult game. Playing for such an important Club as Inter is a real pleasure, and it’s only normal that there’s so much competition for places. However, we have many matches ahead of us and want to do as well as possible, so everyone will get playing time.
