UCL, Mkhitaryan: Tomorrow's match is very important, we will do our best"

APPIANO GENTILE – After the double-header against Barcelona, Inter host Viktoria Plzen on matchday 5 in Group C of the Champions League. On the eve of the match, alongside coach Simone Inzaghi, Henrikh Mkhitaryan answered journalists' questions:

Where will Inter come?

"We want to finish as high as possible, there is still room to improve, we know that we must all work together. There is great potential which we have not yet reached, we want to move forward and achieve our goals.

What's the one thing in which you have improved the most?

"Before the game against Sassuolo we had won against Barcelona, and despite struggling against Sassuolo, then we went to Camp Nou with confidence and a desire to win. Tomorrow's match will be the most important game of the group, we have to do our best and play a perfect game to win and go to the round of 16."

In the beginning when Inter conceded they also suffered psychologically, now you have a more immediate response.

"We talked to each other, we understood that we have to play until the end, no matter what happens, you can concede but the game lasts 90 minutes plus recovery and that's what happened in Florence too, we didn't let our heads drop, we went on to win. Even me at in the dying minutes I made that sprint and I was in the right place at the right time and we were repaid by winning the game".

As a team what will the return of Lukaku give you?

"He is a very important player, we miss him and Brozovic a lot, we are waiting for them. We need everyone, this team plays thanks to the 11 starters, the bench and all the people who work, together. Lukaku is a player with great experience, personality and desire to win."

What is a mistake to avoid tomorrow?

"There are always risks, we have to play our own football, score goals and win. There are no easy games and tomorrow will be the most important game, we want to win and move forward."

What are your thoughts on Asllani?

"We help each other and do our best to win. Asllani has great potential and a lot of desire to improve and study and we want to help him because we need all players to win matches."

how have you managed to bring it all together?

"All teams have ups and downs, we started lower and we are getting back up and we want to finish as high as possible. We are finding our game and we want to keep improve, we cannot make mistakes, we want to do our best in every game to win, mistakes are always made but we want to make as few as possible."

How does playing with Brozovic and Calhanoglu help you?

"I feel very good playing anywhere where. I feel better closer to the opponent's goal but also as a mid-winger I like it because we know how to play as a team, we know what to do. There is no difference for me playing alongside Brozovic or Calhanoglu, both of them are good and we understand each other very well."
