With the World Cup in full swing and Serie A resuming in early January, Inter's December has begun with a Training Camp in Malta, the stage for two of five friendlies scheduled before the end of 2022.
The matches against Gzira United (5 December), Red Bull Salzburg (7 December) and Betis (18 December) will be streamed live on the Nerazzurri's official Facebook page. It is Luca Danovaro, Inter's Chief Revenue Officer, who talks about the club's strategies this month before the resumption of the league.
"We are going through a peculiar season, with the World Cup in Qatar breaking up the usual schedule, where combining the team's technical needs with Inter's brand positioning and the development of global commercial strategies remains fundamental. For this reason, our December will start with the Training Camp in Malta, where the mild climate will allow the team to train at its best and where friendlies against Gzira United and Red Bull Salzburg are scheduled".
"Being present in Malta will be an important business opportunity. In fact, it will serve to deepen the bond with LeoVegas.News, the Club's Infotainment Partner, with whom we have been collaborating for months on a number of fronts. The partnership will be particularly clear during the Training Camp: LeoVegas.News will be visible on the First Team's training kit. Inter will take part in several events on the island, in collaboration with LeoVegas.News".
Danovaro then explained the broadcasting strategy of the Nerazzurri matches, which will be produced by the club's media house and exclusively broadcast on the club's Facebook profile: "Inter fans will have the opportunity to watch the matches against Gzira, FC Salzburg and Betis through live streaming on our club's Facebook page. For just under €10 it will be possible to follow the matches with commentary from Roberto Scarpini. It will be a way to differentiate revenues, reach a wider audience, and at the same time guarantee the quality that Inter have always ensured in the production of exclusive content in recent years. There are more than 31 million Nerazzurri fans on the platform: for each one of them it will be enough to buy the single event to support Inter from every corner of the world".
