Lautaro: "Proud of this team"

“I’m very proud and happy because this was one of our objectives this season. We’re no longer in the Coppa Italia, so today was a big opportunity. We’d performed really well against Lazio, and we needed to do our job once again. We struggled somewhat but managed to win the trophy for a third consecutive year. I’m proud of this team and was thrilled when I scored: it was a special moment. I reached 100 goals in the Coppa Italia final, while I’ve drawn level with Vieri - a great - tonight. We knew we’d be up against a high-quality side, but we did well to stick at it until the final minute. We need to focus on our path and carry on working in the same manner. It was important to win this trophy today and we managed to do it, but now our thoughts will turn to Fiorentina. My teammates allow me to raise my level, which is important. We all need to be ready, and I’m happy to be involved in a team like this one.”
