The former German centre-forward, UEFA Cup and Supercoppa Italiana winner with Inter turns 59 today

Arriving from Stuttgart in the summer of 1989, Jurgen Klinsmann soon became a fans' favourite of the Nerazzurri supporters.

Together with Lothar Matthaus and Andy Brehme, he formed a historic German trio, who were key members of the team that won the 1990 World Cup in Italy. In his three seasons at the Club, Klinsmann scored 40 goals in 123 games in all competitions, featuring in the Club's first ever Supercoppa Italiana (1990) and UEFA Cup win (1990-91).
