Inzaghi: "Disappointing, but we showed that we're very much alive"

This is what Simone Inzaghi had to say following Inter's defeat to Napoli at the Stadio Maradona:
"There's real regret because we did well in the first half without giving Napoli a lot of opportunities. I knew we'd have more spaces in the second half, but, unfortunately, we committed a naive mistake with the sending-off and paid a dear price for it. I can't reproach the lads because we managed to equalise with ten men in the second half, but then Di Lorenzo scored with a brilliant strike. It's a defeat that slows our progress, but the team showed that they're very much alive. We did what we needed to do.
"Obviously, there's a bit of disappointment because we'd won eight in a row. We knew we were up against the Champions of Italy, and, after scoring an equaliser, we conceded straight away. Having drawn level, we should have tried to take home what would have been a very important point.
"It's great that the club has faith in me. Four games remain, two of which are finals. We're on a path of growth; our fifth final in two years is coming up, and these finals are very helpful in terms of helping the team grow even more.
"Lukaku is feeling really good, and this also applies to all of his teammates. In the last two months, he's returned to being the Romelu that we all know. I'm using him and all our other strikers, who are doing just as well. Today was our 15th game in 50 days. I need the whole squad because the fixture list is, quite frankly, incredible, but I've had excellent responses from all the lads.
"As regards the Champions League final against Manchester City, we know that they're one of the strongest sides in Europe. However, we're not already beaten and will play our game in the final. Before that, however, we have two league games and the Coppa Italia final coming up."
