“I’m happy with the win because Udinese are better than their league position suggests. We knew that we’d need to manage possession well and not get stretched, and the boys read the game well from the first until the 94th minute. It was a real team effort and an excellent performance. We need to focus on ourselves and are used to playing after our closest challengers. It’s only right to enjoy these evenings, and we’re aware that we must always try to play like this in front of such a fantastic crowd; our fans deserve this. Now, we need to continue to work because we have an important game on Tuesday and have to recover both physically and mentally. Not all games go the same way, but we have strikers who are really helping us. While things are currently going well, there are dangers around the corner.”
