2024/25 Coppa Italia: Inter to face Udinese in the Round of 16

Inter will face Kosta Runjaić's Udinese in the Round of 16 of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa 2024/25. The Nerazzurri will play their first game in the competition at this stage as is usual for the top eight-seeded sides of the Coppa Italia.

The domestic cup began in August with the preliminary knockout rounds: this week, the second knockout round was held.

Udinese won their spot in the clash against Inter thanks to a 3-1 win over Salernitana: the game, part of the second knockout round, was decided by goals from Bijol, Lucca and Ekkelenkamp whilst Simy scored for Salernitana to make it 1-1 in the first half.

Inter, who will play Udinese in the league this weekend, will face the Friuliani in the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa 2024/25 Round of 16, the knockout clash will be at San Siro. The date for the fixture has not been confirmed: either Wednesday 4 December or Wednesday 18 December.
