The Coach's thoughts after the 3-1 victory over Udinese

Three goals and three points against Udinese, with Lukaku, Mkhitaryan and Lautaro Martinez getting on the scoresheet in a win that moves the Nerazzurri up to 47 points in the league. This is what Simone Inzaghi had to say after the game:

"We knew the difficulties that the game would involve. Udinese are a physical and technical side that cause their opponents problems. We did really well in the first half and only needed to be more focused just before half-time. It's an important win for us. We need everyone, and those who started and those who came on displayed great commitment today. I'm very satisfied and know I can make my choices with a great sense of calm. We were stretched thin during the first four months up until the World Cup break, but now we can assess things game by game. We'll see how all the lads are feeling, and I'll try to make the best choices for the good of Inter against Porto, too."

Lukaku? "Romalu is improving on a daily basis, training session after training session, game after game. We have real confidence in him. He's giving all that he can and his condition is already good, but he can still make strides forward. He had an injury that caused him problems for four months, so he'll only improve the more he plays."

Handanovic? "He would have played a few more games before, but he had a few physical issues. Now, he's doing fine and we need him and his experience; this will allow us to rest Onana, who has been consistently involved, from time to time. I'm happy for him, but I never had any doubts."

Lautaro? "He would have liked to score two goals tonight. He always gives his all and is one of our leaders. He needs to continue to work like he's doing because he's been excellent since returning from the World Cup."
