Three goals, three points and a win that was anything but easy. Inter come away from Turin with their sixth clean sheet in the league this season, following a game that was decided by Thuram, Lautaro Martinez and Calhanglue. Thuram now has four goals and seven assists this season and he, and Davide Frattesi, spoke after the match:
“It was a great game. Every away game in Serie A is tough; they knew it'd be hard for us to play here. In the second half, we scored three goals and got the win. It's normal that a team has to dig in here: Torino are a physical side. Dumfries? He is a great player. I get on with him really well. I thank him for the assist today. This is a great team; I'm happy to be here and to help the team in every game. I'm growing a low. I hope to always do my best.”
Marcus Thuram
“It was important to do well. We got the three points against a tough team. It's important to generate space in games like this; it paid off and we're pleased. The more you play, the more fit you are. I didn't play in the week before the break, then I played in three games so we're at a good point. We have big aims. We need to keep this up and keep winning to reach our objectives. Tuesday will be another big game. We need to keep going in the Champions League because we're in a tough group. But we still need to keep an eye on the league, so today's win is important.”
