Asllani, Calhanoglu, Lautaro and Sanchez: 90 minutes for four Nerazzurri

We had our first Inter involvements of the break yesterday evening, starting with two wins in EURO 2024 qualifying.

Hakan Calhanoglu and Kristjan Asllani played in victories for Turkey and Albania respectively.

Albania continued their march as Group E leaders as they beat the Czech Republic 3-0; Asllani started and played the full 90 minutes.

Hakan Calhanoglu's Turkey also took all three points, with the Inter man involved for the whole game. The Crescent-Stars beat Croatia by a goal to nil in Osijek to go top of their group.

Two more Nerazzurri were involved overnight in South American qualifying for World Cup 2026.

Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez started and played the full 90 minutes for Argentina and Chile respectively.

World champions Argentina beat Paraguay 1-0 in Buenos Aires. The Albiceleste are top of the group after three matchdays with maximum points.

Alexis Sanchez was involved in Chile's 2-0 win over Peru in Santiago; La Roja are now in fifth place on four points.

Carlos Augusto wasn't involved in the 1-1 draw between Brazil and Venezuela in Cuiabá.
