Inter at The Soccer Tournament: it begins 5 June

MILAN - Everything's set for the start of the 2024 edition of The Soccer Tournament (TST). Inter will participate in the prestigious 7-a-side football event in the United States, which will take place in Cary, North Carolina, from 5 to 10 June. The Nerazzurri club will take part in the tournament with the aim of competing at the highest levels and increasing brand awareness in the US territory, enhancing their presence with fan engagement activities in Nerazzurri colours.

Inter will take part in the TST to continue the process of consolidating the local fan base through participation in the most important events in the area. This tournament will be a key moment in approaching the 2025 Club World Cup.

In recent years, the Nerazzurri have participated in several prestigious events: from the United Soccer Coaches Convention in California to the Jefferson Cup in Virginia, in addition to their presence at the most iconic sports and entertainment events and venues in the world, such as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Madison Square Garden.

THE NERAZZURRI ROSTER

The Nerazzurri will make their debut in the second edition of the tournament, presenting a team composed of different facets of the Nerazzurri family. The Inter Legends, including Marco Materazzi, Tommaso Berni, Borja Valero, Giorgos Karagounis, and Francesco Colonnese, will be joined by players from Inter Academy, Inter Club, and Inter Campus, as well as international talents and content creators associated with the Club.

THE RULES

The TST will take place at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina, from 5 to 10 June 2024. The men's tournament, featuring 48 teams, will kick off with the group stage on June 5th and 6th, with teams divided into 12 groups of four. The 32 teams advancing from the group stage will proceed to the knockout rounds, commencing on 7 June. The round of 16 and quarter-finals will take place on 8 June, while the two semi-finals will be held on 9 June. The tournament will conclude with the final on 10 June.
