First victory at the World Cup Qatar 2022 for Marcelo Brozovic's Croatia. At the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, the Croatian national team defeated Canada 4-1 on the second matchday of Group F. Croatia, who had taken the lead with Davies' goal, turned the match around thanks to a Kramaric brace and goals from Livaja and Majer.

Brozovic, who started the game, played the full 90 minutes of the crucial challenge against the North American national team.

After the first two matchdays, Croatia leads Group F with four points, tied with Morocco. The last match of the group against Belgium, who are one point behind, will be decisive for qualification to the round of 16. The match is scheduled for Thursday, 1 December.
