Happy birthday, Colossus!

"Quant'è forte Maicon..." ("Just how good is Maicon..."): for six extraordinary seasons, the Nerazzurri fans sang this chant while admiring Maicon Douglas Sisenando's wonderful plays, runs and goals.

A true force of nature, the Brazilian revolutionised the role of right-back: he was unbeatable defensively and a huge additional presence in attack. Strength, technique and creativity are just some of the characteristics he possessed, allowing him to score 20 goals in 248 Nerazzurri appearances and contribute to a long list of trophies: the Scudetto (x4), the Champions League, the Club World Cup, the Coppa Italia (x2) and the Supercoppa Italiana (x3).

The Colossus, who was inducted into the Inter Hall of Fame in 2022, turns 43 today: best birthday wishes from the Club and every Nerazzurri fan!
