The Jefferson Cup ends in full Nerazzurri colours

The Jefferson Cup 2024 has officially ended. Celebrated as one of the most prestigious tournaments in American youth football, over 1830 teams from 31 of the 50 US states, Italy, Canada, and Trinidad & Tobago took part.

Inter played a very important role in the execution: Inter Academy was the Sporting Partner of the competition. The Nerazzurri club was the only Partner from European football of the tournament.

The final weekend of the Jefferson Cup took place in Richmond, Virginia and starred the Inter Academy Strikers, born in collaboration with the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club, one of the main sporting organisations focused on youth football in the USA.

Various events took place at the end of the week. Young players from the new US Academy were able to take part in an amazing demonstrative training session with the Nerazzurri Legend, Andrea Ranocchia.

The ex-Nerazzurri defender took part across the weekend’s activities in the Showcase where he met participants in the event on the Inter stand.

All the visitors and above else, the fans, had the chance to take pictures with the Supercoppa Italiana trophy won in the final against Napoli in Riyadh in January, and to purchase items from an exclusive collection created by Inter for the occasion.

Inter’s presence at this important tournament is part of the consolidation strategy for the Nerazzurri brand in the USA.
