To date, he's scored twice in 41 appearances for his country.
He moved to Inter in 2020/21, a campaign where he made 33 appearances and contributed to the Nerazzurri's Scudetto triumph, notably scoring two crucial goals against Cagliari and Verona. The following season saw him play 36 times and find the net twice. In 2022/23, meanwhile, he featured on 48 occasions and scored two goals, including the winner against Atalanta in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. In addition to playing as a wing-back, he's often been deployed as part of the three-man backline, all the while displaying his experience, leadership qualities and confidence. Since joining the Nerazzurri, he's not only won the Scudetto but also the Supercoppa Italiana (twice) and Coppa Italia (also twice).
