o There have been no previous meetings between Inter and Leipzig in a UEFA competition. This will be the seventh German side that the Nerazzurri face in the Champions League after Bayer Leverkusen, Werder Breman, Bayern Munich, Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach – the record in these games counts eight wins, four draws and nine defeats.
o The only previous game between Inter and Manchester City in a European competition dates back to the UEFA Champions League final in 2022/23 when the English side won 1-0.
o Inter and Arsenal have faced each other only twice before in any European competition: the Champions League 2003/04 group stage when both sides picked up a win away from home.
o Arsenal is one of only three sides to have scored five goals against Inter in game in a European competition (together with Real Madrid and Schalke 04) and the first to have done this in the Nerazzurri’s own stadium, 25 November 2003.
o Inter has won all three of their previous games against Bayer Leverkusen in a UEFA competition. Only against Salzburg have the Nerazzurri won every fixture more times in these tournaments (four).
o Inter will face Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League for the first time since the second group stage of 2002/23 when they won both meetings.
o Both previous fixtures between Inter and Crvena Zvezda date back to the Champions Cup quarter finals in 1980/81 when the Nerazzurri made it through to the next round thanks to a draw at home and a win away.
o Inter has only lost one of their previous eight encounters with Swiss sides in Europe (4W, 3D, none of which against Young Boys) - 1-0 to Lugano in the UEFA Cup in September 1995. Moreover, the Nerazzurri remain unbeaten when playing these sides away from home (1W, 3D).
o Inter has won three of their four games against Monaco in European competitions (1L), two of these victories came in the Champions Cup 1963/64 Round of 16.
o Inter has played Sparta Praha twice in UEFA competitions: both in the Europa League group stage in 2016/17 when they won once at home and lost away.
