Simone Inzaghi wins "Enzo Bearzot" National Award

On Monday, Simone Inzaghi received the "Enzo Bearzot" National Award, a prestigious recognition promoted by the FIGC together with the ACLI Sports Union. The Nerazzurri coach was chosen by a select jury, chaired by the federal president Gabriele Gravina and Damiano Lembo, president of the US ACLI. "Inzaghi resembles Bearzot in managing the so-called dressing room, with a leadership that is both demanding and paternally affectionate", this is the official explanation by the jury to announce the Nerazzurri coach as the winner of the Award, now in its 13th edition. The awards ceremony took place on Monday 15 April at the CONI Hall of Honour and saw, among others, the Nerazzurri's Sport CEO Giuseppe Marotta, the CONI President Giovanni Malagó, the FIGC President Gabriele Gravina and the Sport and Health President Marco Mezzaroma all in attendance.
