MILAN – In finishing all-square against Fiorentina in Saturday evening's game Inter have now drawn five of their last nine league games. The Dutchman has now scored four times this season for Inter after netting against Fiorentina. He's among four defenders to have scored on at least four occasions and provided four assists in Europe's top five leagues this current campaign, alongside Reece James, Jonathan Clauss and Theo Hernandez.

Samir Handanovic was put to the test against Fiorentina and dealt well with efforts by Nicolas Gonzalez, Riccardo Saponara, and Jonathan Ikone. It was the Slovene's 358th match in Serie A for Inter, meaning he has now drawn level with Tarcisio Burgnich in seventh place on the list of Inter player appearances in Serie A.
