MILAN – The win over Venezia on Saturday brought to an end a run of 14 Inter games in Serie A, the Champions League, Italian Super Cup and Coppa Italia since the previous international break. Six Nerazzurri are set to be called up by their national teams for the fourth international break of the season: Bastoni, Sensi, Barella, Sanchez, Lautaro and Vecino.
Roberto Mancini has selected three Inter players in his squad that will be in Coverciano between Wednesday 26 and Friday 28 January, while three South Americans will be involved in World Cup qualifiers. Argentina’s goalless draw with Brazil in San Juan in the previous qualifier was enough to book their ticket to Qatar 2022.
