MILAN – Inter’s victory over Cagliari saw the Nerazzurri extend a winning run that began on matchday 20. Conte’s men have played eleven league matches since the start of the second half of the season and picked up eleven victories, a first in Serie A. Indeed, Inter have surpassed the previous record that belonged to AC Milan, who won their first ten matches from matchday 20 onwards in 1989/90.
Particularly noteworthy about the current streak is the fact that Inter have kept nine clean sheets in their past 13 Serie A matches.

FORTRESS SAN SIRO!
For the fourth time in their history, Inter have recorded at least twelve consecutive Serie A wins at home, with the Nerazzurri previously achieving this in 1950, 1971 and 2011. On the goalscoring front, Conte’s men continue to find the net at San Siro: the last time they failed to do so was on 22 July against Fiorentina. The Nerazzurri have scored for 16 consecutive league matches on home soil and netted 41 goals during those games.
DARMIAN, A BIG GOAL!
Matteo Darmian scored for the third time this campaign and second time in Serie A to seal the win for Inter. In doing so, the Italian set a personal record for goal involvements in a single season in the Top 5 European leagues: four (two goals, two assists).
The assist for the goal came from Hakimi, who set up a teammate to score on home soil in Serie A for the first time since September (against Fiorentina). Four Inter players have now scored at least five goals and provided at least five assists in the Italian top flight this season. No other side has done better in this regard (four for Atalanta too).
