All the Nerazzurri in action for their respective national teams this evening tasted victories, including vital wins for Croatia and Slovakia with both Perisic and Skriniar on the scoresheet.
PERISIC GOAL AND ASSIST OFF THE BENCH IN CROATIA WIN
It was a second consecutive win for Croatia in Group H of qualifiying for Qatar 2022. After a defeat on MD1 to Slovenia, they have now taken three points against Cyprus and Malta. Ivan Perisic, who came on in the 54th minute, scored to start the Croats on the road to glory before Modric doubled their lead and Brekalo bagged a third - from the Inter wideman's assist. Marcelo Brozovic wasn't involved.
SKRINIAR DECISIVE FOR SLOVAKIA ONCE AGAIN
Two goals in two games for Milan Skriniar, who helped Slovakia to their first win in Group H after draws to Cyprus and Malta. The Inter defender played the full 90 and scored the opening goal of the game in Slovakia's eventual 2-1 win over Russia.
BIG WIN FOR BELGIUM
After victory over Wales on MD1 in Group E and the draw to the Czech Republic (Lukaku scored in both), Belgium ended the international break with a thumping 8-0 win over Belarus (Batshuayi, Vanaken, Trossard, Doku, Praet and Benteke the goalscorers). The Inter striker wasn't involved.
HAKIMI STARTS IN MOROCCO WIN
Achraf Hakimi was also in action with Morocco already having booked their spot at the next AFCON. The Inter full-back started and played the full 90 in the Atlas Lions' 1-0 win over Burundi.
