After the win over AC Milan, Inter lead the league on 53 points after 23 matchdays


The 3-0 win in the Derby di Milan was the Nerazzurri's fourth consecutive victory in the league. Antonio Conte's Inter, after Sunday's win at San Siro, moved onto 53 points a the top of the table, four points clear of AC Milan.

In the first 23 matchdays of the season, Inter have won 16 (nine at home and seven away), drawn five and lost two. The Nerazzurri also confirmed themselves as the best attack in the league with 57 goals scored (2.5 per game). They have conceded 24, only Juve (with a game in hand) have conceded less, 19.

With his goal in the Derby, Romelu Lukaku moved to 17 goals in 22 appearances in the league. Only Cristiano Ronaldo is ahead of him, on 18 thanks to a brace against Crotone. Inter have also been able to count on 13 goals from Lautaro Martinez: 17+13=30. La-Lu is the most prolific striker partnership in Serie A.

INTER'S GOALSCORERS

14 different Inter players have scored this season. Lukaku leads the way with 23 in all comps, followed by Lautaro on 15 and Hakimi on six. The following have all scored three: Perisic, Barella and D'Ambrosio. On two: Sanchez, Vidal, Gagliardini, Skriniar. One goal for Brozovi, Erisken, Darmian and de Vrij.
