MILAN – It was a great start to 2021 for Antonio Conte’s side, who beat Crotone 6-2 in the lunchtime kick-off on matchday 15 in Serie A, recording their eighth consecutive league victory in the process. It was a high-scoring and exciting affair at San Siro, with Crotone surprisingly taking the lead. The Nerazzurri then responded through Lautaro and a Marrone own goal, but Golemic equalised from the penalty spot before the half-time whistle. After the break, Lautaro bagged another two goals, while Lukaku and Hakimi also found the net.

There are four players in contention to pick up the man of the match award:
Lautaro | A brilliant performance from El Toro, who scored a hat-trick and just missed out on a four-goal haul.
Lukaku | Big Rom was everywhere: he provided an assist for Inter’s equaliser, was involved in the Nerazzurri’s second and third goals and all but put the game to bed when he made it 4-2.
Hakimi | Achraf was a continuous threat down the flank with his running and capped off an excellent display with the final goal of the match
Barella | A tireless engine in midfield, Nicolò made a significant contribution in defence and attack, providing the pull-back that led to Marrone’s own goal.
