Memorabilia #Timeless2010: Zanetti’s captain’s armband from the Champions League Final

MILAN – History, memories, memorabilia. Over the coming days, the champions who represented the Nerazzurri in the 2009/10 season will virtually pass the ball to each other thanks to a challenge on Instagram which requires them to retrace the Triplete from ten years ago through the objects that crowned those unforgettable moments.

#Timeless2010, Inter’s campaign, powered by Pirelli, continues with a series of exclusive content. The first video is from Javier Zanetti, who chose the captain’s armband he wore on 22 May 2010. He made his 700th appearance for Inter that night at the Bernabeu Stadium and won one of the most important matches in his career wearing that armband prepared by UEFA for him and Mark van Bommel. After the match, Zanetti celebrated in the award ceremony and lap of honour with the memory of the two Champions Cups won by the ‘Grande Inter’ 45 years earlier on his arm.
