The Nerazzurri full-back spoke to Inter TV after the 3-1 win over Cagliari

CAGLIARI - Another decisive goal from Danilo D’Ambrosio, who put Inter 2-1 up just 123 seconds after coming on to replace Hakimi. “I started my career up front,” he joked in an interview with Inter TV. “Jokes aside, I’m happy to score, especially a winning goal but my main role as a defender is to protect my own net.”

Our number 33 analysed the game: “No game in Serie A is easy and this is a tough place to come. If you factor in that we didn’t deserve to be behind and the disappointment from Wednesday, we showed great character to turn it around and we confirmed that we never give up.”

“The most important thing today was to take all three points. We needed to give a good account of ourselves, of our strengths and our improvement. If the first half had ended 2-0, we wouldn’t be celebrating. We went behind but were really determined to go out and get all three points.”
