Lukaku, after his brace: "We've got everything to do well"

RomeluLukaku’s game at the Borussia-Park was a blueprint for the perfect centre-forward performance. He scored two massive goals in a hard-fought game that allowed Inter to win 3-2 at Borussia. The three points keep hopes of making the knockout stages alive even if destiny isn’t entirely within the hands of Antonio Conte’s side. 

It was the fourth time this season that Lukaku has scored a brace this season and the second time against Borussia. Now on eleven goals in twelve games, the Belgian looked back on the game following the whistle with Sky Sport. “Like I always say, I’m not the leader in this team. I’m one of 25 leaders. There are people here with more experience than me, I only think about helping the team. In every training session, I work to help Inter and I’m happy to play with this group of players.” 

“Yes, I think that I’m playing the best football of my career at this time but I need to thank my teammates who allow me to express myself at my best. We’re all improving a lot but we need to improve further because the game should have been finished off at 3-1. We have everything needed to do well though.”
